The Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Afghanistan organizes "Afsog".
Pap test is one of the important screening tests for early diagnosis of cervical lesions, especially its cancers, which will be introduced in theory and practice in this conference.

AFGHAN SOCIETY OF OBSTETRICIANS & GYNECOLOGISTS INTRODUCTIVE MEETING ORGANIZED IN Balkh PROVINCE
A meeting was organized on 13 December 2022 in the Abu Ali Sina Governmental Hospital on the topic “AFSOG Introduction and Developing further coordination among all members” with AFSOG members. All the Gynecological Drs’ were a part of the elucidative program.
The event stared with the felicitation of the Dr. Nasira Yusufi, and welcomes everyone into the meeting. Thereafter, the participants were espoused by Dr. Nasrin Sadiq Khojandi delivering a wonderful presentation. She acquainted them with the objectives and goals of the Meeting reflected her profound knowledge on the topic and highlighted how important it is to be an active member of AFSOG.
An exalting demonstration and effects of being active member of AFSOG on capacity building, and developing coordination and collaboration galvanized the engrossed participants. After the presentation Dr. Nasrin Sadiq Khojandi brainstorms everyone and asked that what are the possible steps that can be undertaken at the personal level and at the society level to enhance capacities, coordination and reduce mortality rate of woman.
The brainstorm and group work triggered the young minds into thinking innovative ways. An interactive concourse ignited the inquisitiveness of participants. They have committed themselves completely to bring about a change in the situation. The informative meeting culminated with a vote of thanks proposed by the head of the Dr. Nasira Yusufi, and followed by below feedback from the participants.

AFSOG Activities in Kandahar
A workshop was held on 1401/3/27 for the development capacity of Kandahar with the help of Atco Campaign, in which 40 doctors participated in the workshop on cognitive, gestational diabetes, PCOS, cervlage, RH incompatibility, menstruation cycle physiology, Menopause and vitamin D concentrations were reported.
